Text Box:                                 Dancing Hill Ministries introduces the                   "Dancer's Assume the Position Webinar."   The webinar is a live, interactive workshop held in a virtual conference room.  Our virtual conference room allows you to engage yourself in-depth instruction and discussion with fellow members of God's dancing army from around the country in the comfort of your own home. The DATP Webinars are held monthly and are limited to a maximum of 12 participants per session, to allow the best possibility for discussion and engagement.  The sessions are held monthly on Saturdays and begin at 9am, PST.  Sessions are approximately two (2) hours.  Each participant will receive a copy of the book, "Dancers! Assume the Position," written by DHM founder, Marlita S. Hill.  To participate you will need internet access, a computer headset, and a computer mic (optional).

 

 

 

 

 

Text Box: Dancing Hill Ministries believes it is imperative to understand the intention for, and right use of the gifts that God has entrusted to us.  To that end, the DATP Webinar takes a deep look at how our dance serves and impacts the individual, our house of worship, the corporate body-at-large, and God's eternal purpose for His people. Webinar topics include: ---Dancing with a "Global" Mindset.  How is the dance minister used to develop, strengthen, and advance the individual and corporate body?  What is the dance minister's function in the purpose of God and in the local house of worship? ---The Function of Song in Dance Ministry.  This teaching affirms the importance of Spirit-led song selection as it surveys song's relationship with, and contribution to ministry through dance. ---Choreography: Dancing the Word.  In Ex. 25:8-9, God instructs Moses to oversee the making of a tabernacle, a sacred place, that He may dwell among His people.  This teaching examines how we can make our dance a sacred place where God will dwell and emanate Himself from.  What makes our dance "sacred?"  How does God use our movement?  How are we to obtain choreography for ministry?                                                                             Webinar registration is $45.00 per participant                           (includes a copy of "Dancers!  DATP WebinarText Box: Dance ministry is the process of using the vehicle of dance to carry out the act of ministry.  This definition brings to light a very important distinction: the dance is not the ministry, and the ministry is not the dance.  Though God has called us to it, the dance is only the principle medium we have been given to use in fulfilling our ministry.  If dance is only the vehicle, what is the ministry?
